Seems everyone I know was busy drinking somewhere last night so I decided to watch Kenyan TV. Why watch Kenya TV instead of drinking with my friends ,you ask? It has been some 8 years since I was in Kenya and I decided to visit this month. It was a very interesting trip. I did blog about it but could not post as the internet seems only to work in my small town of Dracut. I will post the blogs later in the week when I can get my hours together.

Kenyan bloggers need to get out of their blogger accounts. I have been educated in the past 3 months since we started this Kenyan community project that Kenyan Bloggers are some of the best in the world. Some I do not like some are simply fantastic to go to. Ah so now I can now actually be touched in a citihoppa bus as I wished I could before.

Somehow Uhuru Kenyatta has forgotten that walking from Muthurwa to Westlands is not a healthy exercise. So now I take a matatu from Buruburu to Muthurwa or wherever he decides after he's had a booze, then I walk 500 miles to get to University way to get another matatu to Westlands where I am a secretary earning ksh 20k a month.

Just got a call from my friends telling me about the upcoming great Safaricom IPO.The Safaricom IPO is meant to start on March 28th to April 26th with 10 billion shares for sale.

Wow. Did someone say 10 billion shares? So if it is true that Safaricom will be selling 25% of it's shares then safaricom has in total of about 40 billion shares. I know that those figures are wrong. Oh well just another day when I am damn pissed with the customer service I received in Kenya. I was not even in the office as I was calling from Japan just to enquire about getting Internet service for my family in Kenya. It was a very frustrating affair. If I didn't know any better I would say that they did not want to sell me anything and I was only begging to get the service.

It seems that the only way that Kenyan politicians can seem to try and find a solution to the madness that was Kenya after the elections, is to have their visas denied.
